Olympic Update: Day 1

T'was the first day of the Olympics and the day featured cycling, swimming, shooting, basketball and much more. Australia won 1 gold medal in the Women's 4x100 Freestyle Relay. Australia went well in the rowing heats and won their basketball match against Great Britain. Michael Phelps failed to get a medal in an event for the second time ever. England didn't do well in the cycling however Stuart O'Grady came 6th for Australia. China has 4 gold medals, leading the medal tally.

    We are all looking forward to ignoring all the usual rules about how much TV it is appropriate to watch, and enjoy 2 weeks of Olympic fever!
