Olympic Update: Day 3

It was the 3rd day of the Olympics and there were many sports featuring in the day. Today was cross country, unfortunately Australia lost two people in horse riding. Australia went well in rowing events, including winning many heats. The Kookaburra's flogged South Africa in hockey winning 6-0. In the 200m freestyle Barrat is the favourite for the final with Palmer in the event too. Unfortunately the Opals lost their basketball match against France. In the game Snell put the ball into the hoop from halfway to get an equaliser in the final millisecond of the match (featured above). Back to the pool Coutts came 2nd in the semi-final and Rice came 5th luckily both of them advanced. Emily Seebohm got Australia's only medal of the night claiming a silver medal in the 100m Women's Backstroke.

  1. That basketball goal was amazing, even if Australia didn't actually win the game. How many hits will that get on you tube?

  2. It happened again. I leave a comment and then it redirectes me to another page and then I loose the comment. When will I learn to copy before leaving the page.

As I was saying...... I saw that goal. incredible! Even out classes the time I scored a three pointer on the buzzer to win the grand final by 1 point. Talented ladies!

    Copying now!

Good thing I did - I lost it again. Copy now and try for a third time.
