The London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony
We have waited 4 years for this. We have waited 48 months for this. We have waited 1425 days for this. We have waited 34 200 hours for this. We have waited 2 052 000 minutes. We have waited 123 120 000 seconds for the London 2012 Olympic Games. You saw stuff from funny orchestra with Rowan Atikson to The Queen paracuting with James Bondinto the stadium. (Don't worry it was just a projection). There was a special construction segment and fireworks. There were dances and songs after all that the 204 countries came marching out proudly holding their flag. It was in alphabetical apart from Greece was first and Great Britain. Lauren Jackson held the flag for Australia. Mariel Zagunis held the flag for the USA and Sir Chris Hoy held the flag for Great Britain.
