100 Years Since The Titanic Sunk

It is 100 years since the Titanic sunk. It hit the iceberg at around midnight and the Titanic sunk 2 hours later. Many people missed the departure only to their relief as the Titanic sunk. About 600 people got on lifeboats and survived. Only one person is still alive 100 years later.

  1. It would have been very strange for the people this morning who were on the ship that re-traced Titanic's last voyage. They stopped in the ocean immediately above the wreck, and has memorial services at the time they hit the icebert (about 11.45pm), and then when it sank, just after 2am. That would be pretty unnerving.
