Sammy Creates A Tie

AustraLia batted first scoring a handy 220 runs including fifties from Mike Hussey and George Bailey.
The West Indies walked out into the middle with belief from their last game. However they found themselves 6-117 at one stage but a handy partnership between Russell and Baugh brought them back into the game. Later in the game they needed 7 runs off the last over to win. Off the first two balls there were singles but on the third ball there was a four. West Indies needed 1 off 3 to win with one wicket in hand. Sammy hits it, the non striker (Roach) runs but Sammy stay's still basically waiting to be run out.

For All West Indies Fans: Blame the tie on Sammy

For All Austalian Fans: God Bless Sammy for making two consecutive wins for them a dream.

  1. Wasn't it lucky that the way the time zones work, you could watch the ending of the tie, and then still make it to school on time. I wonder if the TV stations plan it that way for kids who like cricket?
